McKenzies Diesel – Warranty and Returns Policy

Welcome to McKenzies Diesel! We provide quality diesel fuel injection parts and components to our valued customers. Below is our Warranty and Returns Policy designed to ensure you have a seamless and satisfactory shopping experience.

1. Warranty Policy

1.1 Coverage:

  • Warranty Period: Our products come with a six (6) month warranty from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified or agreed in writing. The warranty covers defects in parts and materials (“products”).
  • Eligible Products: The warranty applies to all diesel fuel injection parts and components purchased through our online store, but specifically excludes products marked as not being subject to this warranty, as non-returnable or for final sale.

1.2 Exclusions:

  • Damage from Misuse: The warranty does not cover any damage resulting from misuse, abuse, improper installation or modifications to any products.
  • Normal Wear and Tear: Any damage or issues from normal wear and tear, maintenance issues, contamination or damage due to external factors (e.g., accidents, environmental conditions) are not covered.
  • Consumables and Electrical Components: Items considered consumables and/or electrical components are not covered by our warranty.

1.3 Claims Process:

  • Notification: To initiate a warranty claim, please contact our customer service team at +27 31 705 8516 within 48 hours of discovering the defect.
  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide proof of purchase, including an invoice number and proof of payment.
  • Inspection: We may require you to return the defective product for inspection. The product must be returned in its original packaging with all included components.

1.4 Resolution:

  • Repair or Replacement: Upon verifying the defect, we will either repair or replace the defective product at no charge. If repair or replacement is not feasible, a refund will be issued.

2. Returns Policy

2.1 Return Eligibility:

  • Return Period: You may return products within seven (7) days of receipt. The product must be unused and in its original sealed packaging.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Certain items, such as special orders or customized products, are non-returnable.

2.2 Returns Process:

  • Request: To request a return, contact our customer service team at +27 31 705 8516 with your invoice number and the reason for wanting to return the product.
  • Authorisation: Any returns must be authorised by our team. Unauthorised returns may be refused or incur additional charges.
  • Return Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to our error e.g. the incorrect item having been supplied.

2.3 Refunds:

  • Processing Time: Once we receive and inspect the returned product, a refund will be processed within ten to fifteen (10 – 15) working days. Refunds will be issued by the original payment method.

2.4 Exchanges:

  • Policy: To exchange a product, please return the original item and place a new order for the desired product and subject to availability we will exchange the product. You will be responsible for any shipping, postage or courier costs.
